I'm really enjoying 100 years of fashion illustration, bought for me by my lovely sister Rachel, have had a good look at some of my favourite era's (those that know me well know I specialise in 1950's and 1960's). I love the way the era's cross over, mainly because people couldn't afford to discard their old wardrobes and buy according to new trends. The nature of vintage fashion is about recycling and reusing and that is exactly why me and my lovely mother have started to remake items that no longer have their original charm or wearability! We also have some lovely patterns my good friend Sandra found for us so we will be making those up to order. The key charm necklaces compliment them perfectly and we have lots of accessories to collect from our source in liverpool in february... The most exciting part of our spring projects is the craft workshop we are going to host at my new house/office every Thursday night. Oh and Tulle Project 2012 which may or may not work but at least we've tried. On a less worky note today me and the lovely bf are off to the travel agents to book a holiday! We have completely decided on the destination but I have seen an all inclusive in Sorrento on the Neapolitan Riviera that looks stunning. The accommodation is beautiful and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. As we are bringing in triple the income we were we are going to treat ourselves. Think it will be the perfect romantic trip to celebrate the wonderful thing that happened on Christmas day!
Me, Rachel and Sarah are getting Monkey a Dolls House for her birthday so I would appreciate any advice my readers mmy have on purchasing the perfect property xxx
